Harrow and Brent Plumbing and Heating Limited
1. Definitions

“Company” refers to Harrow and Brent Plumbing and Heating Limited.

“Client” means the person or entity requesting services.

“Services” refers to plumbing, heating, or repair work undertaken by the Company.

“Agreement” means these Terms and Conditions and any written quotation or service agreement.
2. Quotations and Estimates
-
All quotations are valid for 30 days unless otherwise stated.

Estimates are based on the information available at the time. The Company reserves the right to amend the estimate if additional work or issues are uncovered once the job commences.

No work will commence without Client approval of the quote or estimate.
3. Booking and Access
-
The Client must provide clear access to all relevant areas before work begins.

The Company will not be held responsible for any delay or additional costs caused by restricted access or hazardous working conditions.
4. Payment Terms
-
Payment is due upon completion of work unless otherwise agreed in writing.

For larger projects, a deposit or staged payments may be required.
-
Payments can be made via bank transfer, card, or other agreed methods.

Late payments may incur a £25 administration fee and interest at 8% above the Bank of England base rate, as per the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998.
5. Cancellations and No Shows

Cancellations made less than 24 hours before a scheduled appointment may incur a charge of up to 50% of the agreed price.

Missed appointments without notice may be subject to a call-out fee.
6. Warranties and Guarantees
-
Workmanship is guaranteed for 12 months from the date of completion unless otherwise specified.

Materials and products are covered under the manufacturer’s warranty where applicable.

Guarantees do not cover damage caused by misuse, third-party interference, or failure to maintain installed systems.
7. Liability

The Company accepts no liability for loss or damage arising from:

Pre-existing faults in the Client’s plumbing or heating systems

Delays due to third-party suppliers or adverse conditions
-
Inability to source matching replacement materials

The Company is insured for public liability, but shall not be liable for indirect or consequential loss.
8. Ownership of Materials

All materials supplied remain the property of Harrow and Brent Plumbing and Heating Limited until full paymenthas been received.
9. Complaints and Disputes
-
Any concerns must be raised in writing within 7 days of completion of the work.

We aim to resolve all complaints promptly and fairly in accordance with industry standards.
10. Force Majeure
-
The Company shall not be liable for failure to perform obligations due to circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to extreme weather, accidents, or supply chain disruptions.
11. Governing Law
-
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
